What began in 1995 as a one-time event to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of ESSENCE magazine has now grown into one of the country's most popular summer events. It is the nation's largest annual gathering of African-American music and culture. She has also served as the President of the Metropolitan Atlanta Mental Health Association. Besides working with the Braxton Family, Dr. Sherry was the official psychologist for the National Football League’s Southeast Division and has worked with award winning entertainers to professional athletes in the NFL, NBA, and the MLB. She has appeared as a source for major broadcast radio stations and television news networks including: WSB-TV(ABC,) WAGA-TV(FOX), WXIA-TV (NBC), WGCL-TV(CBS), WJZF-Radio, and WVEE-FM Radio. In addition to her specialty work with celebrities, she owns and operates Touchstone Psychological Services in Atlanta, Georgia.
